OFFICIAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By submitting an entry to the "Fund My Crazy by Google Gemini" campaign (the "Campaign"), you agree to be
bound by these Terms and Conditions (the "Terms"). If you are not eligible, your entry may not be valid.
These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("Participant," "you," or "your") and Google
India Private Limited ("Google," "we," "us," or "our").
2. CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW
2.1 Description
Fund My Crazy by Google Gemini is a student innovation challenge inviting eligible students to submit
creative solutions to campus problems. Selected participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas
and receive prize money.
2.2 Campaign Period
- Submission Period: November 24, 2025, 12:00 AM IST to December 10, 2025, 11:59 PM IST
(the "Submission Period")
- Judging Period: December 11, 2025 to December 12, 2025
- Finalist Announcement: December 12, 2025
- Finals Event: December 18, 2025 (the "Finals")
2.3 Prize Pool
Total prize money of ₹1,00,00,000 (One Crore Indian Rupees) will be distributed among ten (10) winning
participants.
3. ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Basic Requirements
To be eligible to participate, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age as of November 24, 2025
- Be a legal resident of India
- Be enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited Indian college or university during the Submission
Period
- Have access to Google Gemini for creating submission materials
- Comply with all Terms set forth herein
3.2 Ineligibility
The following individuals are NOT eligible to participate:
- Employees, contractors, and representatives of Google and its parent companies, subsidiaries, and
affiliates
- Immediate family members (parent, child, sibling, spouse) and household members of the above
- Individuals who have been banned or disqualified from previous Google campaigns or contests
- Individuals residing in any jurisdiction where participation would be prohibited by law
- Any other criterion at the sole discretion of Google/Gemini
- Individuals not meeting the conditions of 3.1
3.3 Verification
Google reserves the right to verify eligibility at any time. Failure to provide proof of eligibility (student
ID, enrollment certificate, age verification) within 5 business days of request will result in
disqualification.
3.4 Team Submissions
Team submissions are permitted (maximum 4 members per team), but:
- All team members must meet individual eligibility requirements
- One member must be designated as primary contact
- Prize distribution among team members is the team's responsibility
- All team members must sign winner agreements if selected
4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
4.1 Submission Requirements
To participate, you must:
- Visit https://fundmycrazy.com/
- Complete the official submission form with accurate information
- Submit:
- Personal details (name, email, phone, college, course/year)
- Idea title and category
- Description of campus problem being solved (max 100 words)
- Detailed idea description (max 200 words)
- Impact statement (max 100 words)
- Execution/feasibility plan (max 150 words)
- Visual mockup created using Google Gemini (JPG, PNG, or PDF format, max 25MB)
- Agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy
- Submit your entries before December 10, 2025, 11:59 PM IST
4.2 Idea Categories
Submissions must fit into one of the following categories:
- Product: Physical or digital products
- Service: Campus-based service offerings
- Experience: Events, spaces, or community initiatives
- Wild Card: Innovative ideas that don't fit other categories
4.3 Submission Limits
- Maximum one (1) submission per person or team
- Submissions must be original work created specifically for this Campaign
- Submissions cannot have been previously published, submitted to other contests, or won awards elsewhere
4.4 Technical Requirements
- Mockup must be created using Google Gemini
- File formats accepted: JPG, PNG, PDF only
- Maximum file size: 10MB
- All text must be in English
4.5 Confirmation
You will receive an email confirmation upon successful submission. If you do not receive confirmation within
24 hours, contact hello@fundmycrazy.com.
5. IDEA REQUIREMENTS & RESTRICTIONS
5.1 Content Standards
Your submission must:
- Address a genuine campus or student life problem
- Be feasible to implement
- Be original and your own work
- Be appropriate for all audiences
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5.2 Prohibited Content - IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION
CRITICAL: Submissions containing ANY of the following will result in IMMEDIATE
DISQUALIFICATION at any stage of the Campaign, including after the winner announcement. No appeals will be
entertained.
Submissions must NOT contain, promote, or be related to:
- Political Content
- Political parties, candidates, or electoral campaigns
- Political ideologies or partisan messaging
- Content that advocates for or against specific government policies or politicians
- Religious Content
- Religious beliefs, practices, or doctrines
- Content that promotes or criticizes any religion
- Religious conversions or proselytization
- Religious symbols used in divisive or inflammatory manner
- Illegal Activities
- Any content that violates Indian laws or regulations
- Activities prohibited by the Indian Penal Code or other applicable laws
- Circumvention of legal requirements or regulations
- Unauthorized access to systems or data
- Hate Speech & Discrimination
- Content that spreads hatred, enmity, or ill-will between different groups
- Discrimination based on race, caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, region,
language, or any other protected characteristic
- Content that targets, harasses, or demeans specific communities, groups, or individuals
- Casteist, racist, sexist, homophobic, or other discriminatory content
- Plagiarism & Intellectual Property Theft
- Ideas copied from others and submitted as your own original work
- Submissions substantially similar to existing products, services, or published ideas without
proper attribution
- Use of copyrighted material without permission
- Trademark infringement or passing off
- Other Prohibited Content
- Violence, weapons, or harm to individuals or groups
- Sexually explicit or suggestive content
- Defamatory, libelous, or slanderous statements about individuals or institutions
- Personal attacks on specific individuals, including college staff or administration
- Promotion of alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or other controlled substances
- False, misleading, or fraudulent claims
- Malicious code, malware, or harmful technology
- Privacy violations or unauthorized use of personal data
- Spam, pyramid schemes, or commercial solicitation
- Such other content at the sole discretion of Google/Gemini
Important Notes:
- Even if your idea addresses a social issue, it must NOT be framed in political, religious, or hate-based
terms
- Ideas that appear neutral but have underlying political or religious agendas will be disqualified
- Discussing campus problems is acceptable; targeting specific communities or spreading hatred is not
- When in doubt, avoid political, religious, or divisive content entirely
Google's decision on what constitutes prohibited content is final and not subject to appeal.
5.3 Campus Policy Compliance
Submissions should not:
- Deliberately violate reasonable campus policies or regulations
- Encourage students to circumvent legitimate institutional rules
- Create safety or security risks for campus communities
Ideas may identify problems with existing systems but must propose constructive solutions, not merely
criticize institutions.
5.4 Immediate Disqualification Triggers
Participants will be IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED without warning or appeal if their submission:
- Contains political, religious, illegal, or hate-based content as defined in Section 5.2
- Targets or demeans any specific community, group, caste, religion, region, or protected class
- Is plagiarized or copied from another source and submitted as original work
- Spreads misinformation, fake news, or deliberately false claims
- Violates any provision of Section 5.2 (Prohibited Content)
Disqualification Consequences:
- Immediate removal from Campaign at any stage
- Forfeiture of any prizes or finalist status
- Potential legal action for serious violations
- Ban from future Google campaigns
- No refund of any costs incurred (if applicable)
No Appeals: Disqualification decisions are final and binding. Google is not obligated to
provide detailed explanations for disqualifications involving prohibited content.
Google reserves the right to report illegal content to appropriate authorities.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
6.1 Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to your submitted idea and materials. By submitting, you do NOT transfer
ownership to Google.
6.2 License Grant
By submitting an entry, you grant Google a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable
license to:
- Display, reproduce, and distribute your submission materials for Campaign promotion
- Use your name, likeness, college name, idea title, and description in Campaign-related marketing
- Create derivative works based on your submission for promotional purposes
- Publish your submission on Campaign website, social media, and other channels
- Feature your idea in case studies, blog posts, press releases, and media coverage
This license survives the end of the Campaign and continues indefinitely.
6.3 Originality Warranty - CRITICAL
You represent and warrant that:
- Your submission is your 100% original work created specifically for this Campaign
- You own all rights to the submission or have obtained necessary permissions
- Your submission does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights
- You have NOT copied, plagiarized, or substantially borrowed from anyone else's idea
- If you were inspired by existing concepts, you have significantly transformed and made them your own
- You have the right to grant the licenses described in Section 6.2
- If submission includes third-party materials (images, code, content), you have proper licenses
WARNING: Submitting someone else's idea as your own is plagiarism and will result in
immediate disqualification and potential legal action. This includes:
- Copying ideas from classmates, friends, or online sources
- Resubmitting ideas you've seen in other contests or platforms
- Minor modifications to existing products/services without substantial originality
- Team ideas where you don't have permission from other team members to submit
Verification: Google may use plagiarism detection tools and web searches to verify
originality. You may be asked to provide evidence of your creative process.
6.4 Infringement Claims
If your submission is found to infringe third-party rights, you will be disqualified and may be required to
return any prizes received. You agree to indemnify Google against any claims arising from your submission.
6.5 Similarity
Google is not responsible if multiple participants submit similar ideas. Judging decisions on similar
submissions are final.
7. JUDGING & SELECTION
7.1 Judging Process
Submissions will be evaluated in two stages:
Stage 1: Initial Review
All submissions will undergo content moderation to ensure compliance with Section 5 (Idea Requirements &
Restrictions). Non-compliant submissions will be disqualified without further review.
Stage 2: Judging Panel
Qualifying submissions will be evaluated by a panel of judges selected by Google based on the following
criteria:

Legal & Policy Compliance is a pass/fail requirement, not a scored criterion.
7.2 Judging Decisions
- All judging decisions are final and binding
- Judges' scores will not be disclosed to participants
- Google reserves the right to select fewer than 10 winners if insufficient qualifying submissions are
received
- Judges may request clarification or additional information from participants
- Google is not obligated to provide feedback on non-selected submissions
7.3 Finalist Selection
The top ten (10) highest-scoring submissions will be selected as Finalists and invited to the Finals event in
Mumbai.
7.4 Conflicts of Interest
Judges will recuse themselves from evaluating submissions from their own institutions or where personal
conflicts exist.
8. FINALS EVENT
8.1 Finalist Obligations
If selected as a Finalist, you must:
- Confirm participation within 24 hours of notification on December 12, 2025
- Travel to Mumbai, India for the Finals event on December 18, 2025
- Attend all scheduled mentorship sessions on December 17-18, 2025
- Deliver a live pitch presentation to the judging panel on December 18, 2025
- Sign additional winner agreements and releases
- Participate in event photography, videography, and media coverage
- Comply with all event rules and code of conduct
8.2 Travel & Accommodation
Google will provide for confirmed Finalists:
- Round-trip economy airfare or train fare (as appropriate) from your city to Mumbai
- Hotel accommodation for 2 nights (December 17-18, 2025)
- Local transportation to/from event venue
- Meals during the event (December 17-18, 2025)
Travel must be booked through Google-approved channels. Participants cannot receive cash in lieu of travel.
8.3 Inability to Attend
If a Finalist cannot attend the Finals for any reason:
- They may be permitted to present remotely at Google's sole discretion
- Google may select an alternate Finalist from remaining submissions
- Finalists who fail to attend without valid reason forfeit eligibility for prizes
8.4 Event Rules
Finalists must:
- Arrive on time for all sessions
- Conduct themselves professionally
- Respect other participants, judges, mentors, and staff
- Follow venue rules and Google's code of conduct
- Refrain from disruptive, intoxicated, or inappropriate behavior
- Abide by all directions which may be given from time to time
Violation of event rules may result in removal from the event and disqualification.
9. PRIZES
9.1 Prize Structure
The ten (10) Finalists who present at the Finals will receive prize money according to the following
structure:
Tier 1 (Top 3 Ideas):
₹20,00,000 to ₹25,00,000 each (Twenty to Twenty-Five Lakhs Indian Rupees)
Tier 2 (Next 4 Ideas):
₹7,00,000 to ₹10,00,000 each (Seven to Ten Lakhs Indian Rupees)
Tier 3 (Final 3 Ideas):
₹3,00,000 to ₹5,00,000 each (Three to Five Lakhs Indian Rupees)
Specific amounts within each tier will be determined by the judges based on idea scope and viability.
Total Prize Pool: ₹1,00,00,000 (One Crore Indian Rupees)
9.2 Prize Conditions
- Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash alternatives
- No prize substitution permitted except at Google's discretion
- Prizes will be awarded only to eligible winners who comply with all Terms
- Google reserves the right to verify prize usage
9.3 Tax Obligations
IMPORTANT TAX NOTICE:
- Prizes are subject to applicable Indian tax laws including Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
- Google will deduct TDS as required by law (currently 31.20% (including cess) for prizes exceeding
₹10,000)
- Winners will receive Form 16A or equivalent tax documentation
- Winners are solely responsible for reporting prizes as income and paying any additional taxes
- Winners should consult tax professionals for advice on their specific tax obligations
- Prize amounts stated are pre-tax; net amount received will be less after TDS deduction
Example: A winner receiving ₹10,00,000 will have approximately ₹3,12,000 deducted as TDS and receive
approximately ₹6,88,000 net.
9.4 Payment Process
Prize disbursement will follow this process:
- Winners must complete KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation
- Winners must provide:
- PAN card copy
- Bank account details (account number, IFSC code, account holder name)
- Canceled cheque or bank statement
- Identity proof (Aadhaar/Passport/Driver's License)
- Address proof
- Winners must sign prize acceptance agreement
- Payment will be made via electronic bank transfer within 45 business days of documentation completion
- For team winners, payment will be made to the designated primary contact who is responsible for
distribution
9.5 Prize Forfeiture
Winners will forfeit prizes if they:
- Fail to provide required documentation within 30 days
- Provide false or fraudulent information
- Are found to have violated these Terms
- Cannot be contacted using provided contact information
- Decline to accept the prize
Forfeited prizes will not be awarded to other participants.
9.6 Implementation of Prize Money
Though Prize money is intended to support implementation of the winning idea but the same is not mandatory.
While Google does not mandate specific reporting:
- Winners are encouraged to use the prize money for stated purpose
- Winners may be invited to share progress updates for case study purposes
- Participation in follow-up case studies is voluntary but appreciated
Google has no obligation to provide ongoing support, resources, or additional sums beyond the prize amount.
10. PRIVACY & DATA PROTECTION
10.1 Information Collection
By participating, you consent to Google collecting and processing:
- Personal information (name, email, phone, address, date of birth)
- Educational information (college, course, year of study)
- Submission materials (idea description, mockup, supporting documents)
- Communications with Google during the Campaign
- Event participation data (attendance, photos, videos)
10.2 Use of Information
Google will use your information to:
- Administer the Campaign and evaluate submissions
- Verify eligibility and contact winners
- Process prize payments
- Promote the Campaign and winners
- Improve future campaigns and products
10.3 Data Sharing
Your information may be shared with:
- Judging panel members (for evaluation purposes)
- Third-party service providers assisting with Campaign administration
- Tax authorities (as required by law)
- The public (name, college, idea title/description for winner announcements)
10.4 Data Retention
Google will retain your information for:
- Duration of Campaign and prize fulfilment
- As long as necessary for promotional purposes
- As required by applicable laws and regulations
10.5 Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information (subject to legal requirements)
- Withdraw consent for promotional use of your information (though this may affect prize eligibility)

10.6 Privacy Policy
Your participation is also governed by Google's Privacy Policy available at https://fundmycrazy.com/privacypolicy/. In case of
conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy, these Terms prevail for Campaign-specific matters.
11. PUBLICITY & MEDIA
11.1 Publicity Rights
By participating, you grant Google the right to use:
- Your name, likeness, photograph, voice, and video
- Your college/university name
- Your idea title, description, and mockup
- Your quotes, testimonials, and statements about the Campaign
This publicity right:
- Is worldwide and perpetual
- Requires no additional compensation
- May be used in any media (digital, print, broadcast, social media)
- Survives the conclusion of the Campaign
11.2 Media Participation
Winners may be required to:
- Participate in press releases and media interviews
- Attend photo/video shoots for promotional materials
- Provide testimonials and quotes
- Participate in case studies and success stories
Reasonable accommodation will be made for winners who prefer limited media exposure, but some level of
participation is required to claim prizes.
11.3 Social Media
Google may:
- Tag you in social media posts about the Campaign
- Share your submissions on Google's social media channels
- Encourage you to share Campaign content
You are encouraged but not required to share about your participation on social media.
12. LIABILITY & INDEMNIFICATION
12.1 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- Google is not liable for:
- Technical failures (website downtime, submission errors, email delivery failures)
- Lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete submissions
- Unauthorized access to submissions
- Errors in judging or prize fulfillment
- Injuries or damages occurring during Finals event
- Acts of God, force majeure, or circumstances beyond Google's control
- Google's total liability shall not exceed the prize amount awarded to you
- Google is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- For claims under Part B (Google Terms & Conditions), Google's maximum aggregate liability is limited to
US$1,000 as specified in Part B, Section 17
- It is understood that since the present contest is being organized by Google in association with its
partners, for any liability arising due to responsibilities or acts directly attributable to the
organizing Google partner, said partner shall be responsible to indemnify Google. Further, the maximum
amount of liability for Google partner's of any nature either to participants shall also be limited to
an aggregate total sum of 1000USD, only irrespective of the number of claims. This clause shall be read
with clause 17 of Part-B of this T&C where Google can further only be held liable for a maximum
liability of 1000USD against participants' claims
12.2 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge and accept:
- Risk of travel to and participation in Finals event
- Risk that your idea may not be selected
- Risk that implementation of your idea may not succeed
- Risk of public disclosure of your submission
12.3 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Google, its affiliates, employees, and agents from:
- Any claims arising from your submission or participation
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your infringement of third-party intellectual property rights
- Your violation of any laws or regulations
- Any injuries or damages caused by your actions during the Campaign or Finals
This indemnification survives the termination of these Terms.
12.4 Warranty Disclaimer
THE CAMPAIGN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
13. GENERAL CONDITIONS
13.1 Campaign Modification or Cancellation
Google reserves the right at any time to:
- Modify these Terms (with notice to participants)
- Cancel, suspend, or modify the Campaign
- Change dates, deadlines, or prize amounts
- Disqualify participants who violate Terms
- Resolve disputes in its sole discretion
- Do such other act(s) as may be necessary
In the event of cancellation, Google will make reasonable efforts to notify participants but is not obligated
to award prizes.
13.2 Force Majeure
Google is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control,
including:
- Natural disasters, pandemics, or public health emergencies
- War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
- Internet or telecommunications failures
- Labor disputes or strikes
13.3 Disputes & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to the Campaign shall be
subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
13.4 Arbitration
Any controversy or claim arising out of these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance
with the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The arbitration shall be conducted in English in New
Delhi, India. Seat and Venue of Arbitration shall be New Delhi which will be conducted by a sole Arbitrator.
13.5 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall
continue in full force and effect.
13.6 Waiver
Google's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or
any other provision.
13.7 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Google
regarding the Campaign and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
13.8 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms. Google may assign its rights and
obligations to any affiliate or successor entity.
14. INTERPRETATION
14.1 Headings
Section headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
14.2 Language
In case of conflict between English and translated versions of these Terms, the English version prevails.
14.3 Questions about Terms
Questions about interpretation of these Terms should be directed to serioustuff@fundmycrazy.com.

Winners will be announced:
- On the Campaign website: https://fundmycrazy.com/
- Via email to winners
- On Google India's social media channels
- Through press releases and media coverage
Winner names and colleges will be made public unless prohibited by law.

Additional Google Conditions applicable to the Contest:
- Participants in the contest must be at least 18 years of age or have due parental consent.
- Participants must have a valid Gmail account.
- Google is not responsible for any typographical or other error in printing of the offer, administration
of the contest, or in the announcement of the prizes.
- Participation in the contest is no assurance for eligibility to win or for securing any prizes.
- Google is not responsible for disqualification or any resulting loss to the Participants
- The winner(s) of the contest will be selected determined as per the rules of the contest and the
nominated judges by Google and its partners.
- Winners confirm their consent to be contacted for the purposes of the contest by taking steps to unlock
the prize. Google's decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entertained in
relation to such decision.
- Google reserves the right to disqualify any entry or entrant that violates the contest rules or that
adversely affects the fairness or the legitimate operation of the contest.
- Entries must be submitted by the deadline specified in the due course of the contest.
- Entries must not be offensive, defamatory, violative or otherwise inappropriate.
- The organizer reserves the right to modify or cancel the contest at any time.
- By participating in the contest, participants agree to share their personal information including email
address with Google and its partners who are managing this contest.
- Any tax, charge, levy, fee associated with the prize shall be entirely borne by the Participants who won
them .
- Potential prize winners may be required to sign, notarise, and return an Affidavit or declaration of
eligibility, a Liability/Publicity Release and provide any additional information that may be required
by Google. Failure to comply within this time period may result in disqualification and selection of an
alternate winner.
- The contest is governed by the laws of India and Delhi courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute
arising in relation thereto.
- Any claim or liability of Google or its affiliates arising from the contest shall be limited to US$1000.
- In the event of an inconsistency in interpretation, Google’s interpretation of the terms will prevail.
- If any prevailing legal restriction applies to the operation, participation, and winning under this
contest then you agree that we will abide by such a legal restriction.
- The contest is organised by Google’s partners and it has limited oversight over the operational and
procedural details for which Google will not be liable to any claims arising hereunder
- By participating in the contest, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, Google’s
Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
PARTICIPANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By submitting an entry, you acknowledge that:
- You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions
- You meet all eligibility requirements
- Your submission complies with all content requirements
- Your submission does NOT contain any illegal content including political, religious, illegal, or
hate-based content
- Your submission does NOT target or demean any specific community or group
- Your idea is 100% original and NOT copied or plagiarized from any source
- You grant Google the rights described in Section 6 and Section 11
- You understand the tax implications described in Section 9.3
